Our six schools on five separate campuses have served generations of students, and we are proud of the history and heritage each one brings. Director of Maintenance Joe Lulay and his staff work hard to keep the buildings and grounds in excellent shape.

Facility Assessments
In 2024, the Oregon Department of Education launched a Statewide School Facilities Assessment—a no-cost opportunity for local districts made possible by federal funds through the Supporting America’s School Infrastructure program. Over a five-year period, this effort aims to evaluate the condition of every public school building in the state.
As the state was launching this effort, our district recognized the importance of understanding the true condition of our facilities. We commissioned an independent, in-depth assessment of every building, funded through a state grant. These assessments were then reviewed by a local Facilities Committee, made up of community members, staff, and experts. This work laid the foundation for identifying critical needs and informed our ongoing planning.
BBL Architects spent lots of time on roofs and in crawlspaces to examine the condition of our buildings and to compile these assessments. You can read the entire Facilities Assessment Report at this link.
Construction Bond on May 2026 Ballot
On Monday, February 9, 2026, the Cascade School Board voted to place a $30 million construction bond on the May 19, 2026 ballot.
With the previous bond due to be paid off this year, the proposed bond is expected to keep taxes at the same rate of $1.09 per $1,000 of assessed value. If approved by voters, the bond would raise $30 million for updates, renovations, and repairs across the district. Additionally, we are already approved to receive an additional $10.2 million through a state grant if the bond passes.
An informational website is now live, and you can see it at this link.
